Our Philosophy
Inspire, don't require.
Inspired Minds Academy is built on Thomas Jefferson Education — a mentor-led, family-centered approach that cultivates leaders through great books, real projects, and love of learning.
The Commonwealth Model
A community of families, guided by mentors
We are neither a school nor a co-op. We are a commonwealth — families who pool their strengths, learn beside mentors, and keep parents at the center of each child’s education.

The Mentor Model
Mentors light the fire
Our mentors don't lecture — they inspire. They model a love of learning, ask questions that provoke thought, and walk beside scholars as fellow learners. Inspiration, not obligation, is what forms a lifelong scholar.

Scholar Phases
The right thing at the right time
Learning unfolds in phases — Core and Love of Learning in the early years, the Transition to Scholar, and Scholar and Depth phases as students mature. Each phase honors where a child truly is, not just their age.

Family Centered
The home is the heart
Parents remain the primary educators. The commonwealth strengthens the home — with community, accountability, and shared purpose — but never replaces the irreplaceable work of a family.
What Makes Us Different
Depth over checklists
Great works
We read the best books and wrestle with the biggest ideas — not summaries of them.
Real projects
Scholars create, build, perform, and present — learning by doing what matters.
Character & leadership
We form capable, principled young people ready to serve and to lead.
